Powermatic Model COS18, 18" Cut Off Saw, Left Hand (Stock # 1791294)

Lumber, plastics, composites and non-ferrous materials. When you need a fast square cut and big capacity, the new COS18 makes short work of any job. Powered by a big 10 HP motor, the 18" blade handles even the biggest work. Designed for production cutting of up to 70 cycles a minute. Standard equipment includes a pneumatic safety guard on the inside and a full basket guard on the finish side. The heavy blade/clamp assembly is quickly positioned for different jobs.

The saw is constructed with a cast iron table and heavy steel plate body, built for production cutting. The blade is mounted to a chrome steel alloy arbor that is precision ground and balanced. The arbor is supported by massive bearings and full power of the 10 HP motor is transmitted to the blade. Each cutting cycle is cushioned by a large shock absorber and cycle times are easily adjustable.

A large 4" dust collection port keeps the work area clear. Blade changes are accomplished quickly through the large side access door.

Accessory in-feed and out-feed tables (optional) are mounted quickly to the saw and the eight-foot table features three flip stops and scale. A cut above the rest, this saw can handle the biggest jobs!
